The JL/X Series AC Drive is a high-performance, fully digital control solution for AC slip ring motors ranging from 45kW to 975kW. It is offered in both 2-Quadrant (single-direction) and 4-Quadrant (regenerative) models, specifically engineered for seamless retrofit in applications like cranes and hoists by preserving the motor’s classic high-starting torque curve. The drive is housed in three compact chassis sizes, boasting a wide input voltage range of 12V–500VAC (extendable to 690VAC) and flexible overload ratings of 150% or 250% for high-duty cycles. Configuration is simplified via a 40-character alphanumeric display and the PL Pilot+ software package. Standard connectivity includes 17 Digital I/O and 8/4 Analog I/O (Input/Output), with optional fieldbus support for Ethernet, Profibus, CANbus, Modbus, and other protocols, enhanced by inbuilt Drive.Web smart automation for robust distributed control.
